Canvas & Skin is a free, carefully sourced directory built on two peer discovery worlds, Tattoo and Arts & Making, organized into editorial regions built on top of real municipality and state data. Published coverage currently reaches Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Hampton, Newport News, Poquoson, Williamsburg, James City County, Isle of Wight County, York County, Gloucester County, Accomack County, and Northampton County; North Carolina coverage is modeled and ready but not yet published — see Regions for the full picture, including where coverage doesn't exist yet.

Tattoo artists, general artists, and makers each get their own home — Tattoo Artists, Artists, and Makers — alongside Places and Studios & Organizations, with no category positioned as more important than another.
