Canvas & Skin is an independent regional arts directory developed by Empower AI Labs and supported by founding sponsor Inkcredible Tattoo in Virginia Beach. Sponsorship helps fund free public discovery but does not influence verification, rankings, inclusion, or editorial coverage. Sponsorship gives Inkcredible Tattoo legitimate visibility while preserving the directory's independence.
Inkcredible Tattoo may receive
- Founding-sponsor recognition on the homepage
- A tasteful logo and link (once Inkcredible provides or approves an asset for this directory)
- A short sponsor acknowledgment
- A complete, fully-sourced studio profile — on the same terms as any other studio
- Inclusion in relevant regional, municipal, and tattoo-style discovery pages, on the same criteria as any other qualifying studio
- Recognition on the About and methodology pages
- Optional sponsorship of clearly labeled educational tattoo content
Never, for any sponsor
- The highest ranking, or any ranking at all — we don't rank anyone
- “Best tattoo shop” or equivalent superlative wording
- Artificially prominent placement in search or filter results
- Exclusive ownership of a category, style, municipality, or region page
- A lighter verification standard than any other studio
- Suppression or de-prioritization of competing studios
- Unsourced awards or claims
- Control over which legitimate competitors are included
The absolute rule
Verification, favorable ranking, review removal, and the content of a factual claim are never for sale — to Inkcredible or to any future sponsor. Inkcredible's own studio profile, once researched, follows the exact same page template and evidence rules as every competing studio.
