A 15-foot granite monument in front of Newport News Police Headquarters, honoring all who serve the community — 'past, present and future' — including but not limited to law enforcement. Features the Newport News Police badge, benches, and a black granite fountain inscribed "with a common mission." Made from Pennsylvania granite and installed in 2009.

Sculptor, painter, and printmaker; Associate Professor in Christopher Newport University's Department of Fine Art and Art History. His research centers on Guyanese material culture and 3rd-world iconography, incorporating everyday objects from his native Guyana into his practice. Sculptor of "Monument to Service" outside Newport News Police Headquarters. MFA in Sculpture (Maryland Institute College of Art); BFA in Studio Art (Ohio University).
